Keeper of lost narratives

There are tales
some in black and white
some in heart and lung
passed from century to century
no less distorted, no less true
and then there are tales untold
tales untellable
tales in wind and leaf
that will not settle on rock
but are narrated in silence
at certain times of light and shade
when eyes are closed and soul-gates open
